MAX相陶瓷(包括鈦碳化硅,Ti3AlC2材料等)是一種備受關注的新型可加工導電陶瓷材料這類陶瓷包含六十多種三元碳化物或氮化物.M代表過渡族前部金屬元素; A代表主族元素,主要是第三主族和第四主族的元素; X代表碳或氮元素。其中Ti3SiC2研究最為廣泛.Ti3SiC2由美國Drexel大學的Barsoum M教授課題組于1996年用熱壓法成功合成,并且發現了其優異的性能。由于獨特的納米層狀的晶體結構,這類陶瓷材料具有抗氧化,自潤滑,室溫高斷裂韌性和可導電等性能。這類材料可以廣泛應用為高溫結構材料,電極電刷材料,化學防腐材料和高溫發熱體等。產品主要用于高溫涂層,MXene前驅體,導電自潤滑陶瓷,鋰離子電池,超級電容器,電化學催化。
